The challenge was to manage an ever-growing volume of data while developing innovations to increase efficiency and optimize protein production. This required a solution capable of effectively analyzing and understanding data to enhance factory performance. 

As part of its transition to Industry 4.0, Ynsect aims to implement a platform that addresses all data-related challenges, including:

• Mastering, analyzing, and understanding data to improve factory performance.
• Equipping itself with the most innovative tools to meet various data management use cases.
• Leveraging data science to develop decision-support tools, predictive models, machine learning, etc.

Develop a PoC to create an efficient, scalable, and evolving Data Hub.

To develop this solution, we focused on the following key aspects:

• Implementation of a Data Hub with open-source technologies: We developed a PoC using Kafka, Nifi, Airflow, and Spark to create a Data Hub tailored to Ynsect's needs. This solution provides comprehensive features for data preparation, management, and visualization while integrating a customized data science studio for the Data teams.
• An open, scalable, and adaptable architecture: Our solution is built on an open, modular, and scalable architecture, ensuring it can adapt to Ynsect's evolving and growing needs.
• Cost reduction and support for a sustainable economy: By leveraging exclusively open-source technologies, the solution optimizes licensing costs and promotes a responsible digital economy.
