Securing connected objects: challenges and solutions
The Internet of Things (IoT) has taken a prominent place in industry as well as in daily life. However, not all equipment is armed against attacks and the consideration of security constraints sometimes leaves something to be desired.
After some generalities on security (and “safety”), we will describe why the case of connected objects is particular, then we will address the different possible attacks as well as the methods and good practices to protect against them, at the level hardware, software, infrastructure and methodology (while focusing on the embedded/IoT case).
