How can Open Source address your IoT issues?
Pierre Ficheux's blue booklet, to which many members of the GTLL contributed, is an opportunity to summarize the main challenges, but also current solutions and future trends in this market, and to help all technological decision-makers industries downstream of the ecosystem of creators of digital tools open to making informed choices in this area.
In the first chapter, we will see why the adoption of free solutions is a necessity for the IoT.
The second chapter will detail the technologies used for IoT and how free solutions can be chosen both at the level of the connected object (hardware, software, operating system), as well as network protocols, data processing solutions and services to the end user.
Finally, the third and final chapter will take stock of possible business models, always in the spirit of free software and hardware.
