Discover Ibexa's latest AI innovations, with AI Actions and AI Framework to automate and personalise your uses, at the partner event.
As it does every year, Ibexa invited us to its partner event at the magnificent Hôtel particulier de la Maison des Centraliens. The event was an opportunity to present the next developments in the solution, and also to share our feedback on Ibexa DXP. Here is a summary of the publisher's announcements:
Welcome to Ibex… IA
Strictly speaking, the use of AI with Ibexa is nothing new, and a few weeks ago the publisher presented us with several ways of using AI via its QNTM Connect tool. These included generating images from content, automatically adding alternative descriptions to media to improve accessibility, and automatically tagging content to optimise SEO.
The AI Actions presented to us on Tuesday take the integration of AI into Ibexa a step further, with features that will be integrated directly into the back office (AI Actions), such as the automatic generation of alternative text and the refinement of text content. Other actions will be added to the catalogue, with the aim of making life easier for contributors.
Where Ibexa goes a step further is that the solution also offers an interface for creating features using AI (AI Framework) directly from the back office, with the option of customising existing prompts or creating your own prompts, as well as choosing your generative AI application (ChatGPT 3.5, ChatGPT 4, Dall-E, Llama, Mixtral, etc.).
As you can see, thanks to AI Action and AI Framework, you are no longer totally dependent on the editor to create new functionalities for you, and you will be able to industrialise your use of AI (saving prompts, managing rights, and of course monitoring costs in real time) as part of the management of your DXP. More regular, à la carte LTS versions
Another announcement is that Ibexa will be speeding up the roll-out of major LTS versions, with releases scheduled every 18 months. V5 LTS is therefore scheduled for Q2 2025. In addition to these major LTS versions, Ibexa will gradually be offering new intermediate functionalities via ‘LTS Updates’. The addition of AI as well as new e-commerce and collaborative contribution functionalities are the first additions to be made via this LTS Update system. These features may or may not be installed, depending on individual needs. The idea here is not to burden your platform with unused features.
Further integration of the QNTM ecosystem
With a clear ambition to create a truly complementary ecosystem, Ibexa will be integrating a new component of the QNTM group. After Ibexa CDP (by Raptor) and Ibexa Engage (by Qualifio), Ibexa will soon be offering Ibexa Orchestrate (by Actito). This latest brick is dedicated to marketing automation. It enables Ibexa to offer a complete and unified DXP, from first data collection to content personalisation and marketing automation.
These various announcements are further proof of Ibexa's dynamism and position it as an excellent solution for supporting our customers in their transition from a simple corporate site to a genuine DXP capable of meeting their challenges, particularly in the B2B sector.
