VITAM: Understand everything about the State electronic archiving solution

In 2016, the State embarked on an ambitious interministerial project to develop an electronic archiving solution: VITAM.

 

But actually, what is VITAM?

• A proven digital archiving solution, capable of managing, preserving and providing access to archives over the long term
• A system to manage very large volumes (several TB or even PB of data)
• A 100% Open Source model, reusable by everyone (public organizations as well as private companies)

 

6 years after the start of the project, V5 of the VITAM solution is released and is still getting richer! The opportunity for us to update our Mini-Book to share with you the fundamentals you need to know:
